Perrin et Fils
Château de Beaucastel enjoys an almost legendary reputation as one of the great estates in Châteauneuf du Pape. It is owned by the Perrin family, who, in the late sixties set up a new arm of their company called Perrin et Fils, specialising in wines from the southern Rhône.
These wines are the company's premium range and are made in small volumes from each part of the region. They have gained an excellent reputation for the quality and value they offer.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Les Sinards, Perrin et Fils
The southern Rhône has a warm Mediterranean climate giving the wines good ripeness and a characteristic spiciness. Syrah is a classic grape for this region but most wines are a blend of southern French varieties too. This wine is no exception, made from 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 15% Mourvèdre.
The wine is deep ruby red with concentrated spicy, peppery fruit and flavours of plum and blackcurrant with a hint of thyme. It has a well-balanced acidity, a good structure and enjoys a long, rich, concentrated finish. This is a wine that goes well with roast and grilled meats, in particular lamb.

Jean Marc Brocard AC Chablis Premier Cru 2005, Mont de Milieu
Chablis is a region in northern Burgundy, but also a style of wine made from 100% chardonnay grapes. The vines here are grown on slopes of limestone and kimmeridgian clay soils giving the wines their characteristic minerality. This premium quality wine is produced from low yielding, 35 year old vines and undergoes malolactic fermentation and ageing on lees to increase the complexity of the wine.
Pale gold in colour, this wine has lovely floral and apricot flavours, balanced by a pure, mineral finish. Its restrained, underlying richness and complexity makes it a very elegant wine. Enjoy with fish, poultry, cold meat salads, quiche and also goats cheese.

Sancerre La Moussiere
Sancerre Blanc "La Moussière" is produced from the upper Sancerre vineyards of the Loire. Its exceptional quality can be attributed to its ideal, sunny, exposed vineyard location and chalk soils - all perfect conditions for the cultivation of the vine.
The wine is pale gold in colour with a hint of green. The wine enjoys intense white flowers, gooseberries and tropical fruits on the nose and palate. It is crisp, dry and elegant with long, attractive finish.
The prestigious, 25 hectare vineyard, Château Clément-Pichon was acquired by Clément Fayat in 1976. Its location on the outskirts of Bordeaux enjoys gravel soils producing elegant, structured red wines. This blend comprises 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, aged entirely in oak barrels.
This wine has a superb richness and excellent balance. It enjoys both fruit and flowers on the nose and velvety dark fruits on the palate. This wine’s good structure makes this a great wine for ageing until 2010. Try with roasted poultry and tarragon.
